Yeah, I think it’s reasonable to say that man’s activities have had negative effects on the climate. I’m not sure that it’s as bad as some claim — there seems to be quite a lot of trumped up hysteria on the subject which does more to grow government than trees — but I don’t deny that it’s happening.
As for policies to change this, I do not support cap and trade or other ideas which are little more than violence against the free market disguised as responsibility. On the contrary, I’d argue that true protection of private property and elimination of “public” property would do far more to help the environment than central planning ever could.
