c-corn asked: Are you working on Ron Paul's 2012 campaign in any way, shape, or form?
I am not, which is why it’s important to note that all the opinions I express here are my own, and not representative of any other person or organization.
The organization I work for, Young Americans for Liberty, grew out of 2008’s Students for Ron Paul. Ron Paul endorses us, but we cannot support or oppose any candidates for office, so there’s a pretty strict legal barrier between my job and the campaign.
I was, however, honored to be asked to work on the campaign in a communications capacity. But I’m a pretty boring person who likes stability and being assured of a job after August or November 2012 no matter what happens, and I like my current position, so I declined.
